Kelly Services is seeking a Production Operator, Level III – Grinding, for the graveyard shift. You will set up and operate profile grinding machines to produce high-quality parts meeting precise specifications, and you will troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime on a 1:00 AM–9:30 AM shift.

Responsibilities include training teammates, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring consistent tolerances. Prior grinding experience and strong reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including machine setup and operation.
• Willingness and ability to learn advanced setup techniques and meet production run rates.
• Skilled in handling small wire sizes and maintaining tight tolerances.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machines and restore operations efficiently.
• Basic reading, writing, and effective communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate and set up profile grinding machines for the production of customer parts according to sketches and specifications.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and ensure tolerances are met.
• Inspect parts regularly to verify compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide training and assistance to other operators, fostering teamwork.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
