Qualifications

• Grinding experience with knowledge of tools and materials.

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Remove surface and subsurface defects from castings and blend welds to blueprint tolerances.
• Verify dimensional compliance using micrometers, calipers, and related inspection devices.
• Perform fluorescent penetrant inspection tests as required and document results.
• Adhere to safety rules and provide guidance to junior grinders as assigned.
