Job summary

Woodward on Loves Park Campus is seeking an experienced ID Grinder Machinist for 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3:24pm-1:54am) to produce precision metal parts using CNC or manual grinders. Candidates should have 3+ years of ID grinder experience and strong GD&T interpretation.

You will perform setups, inspections, and support lean manufacturing initiatives, while adhering to 5S standards and safety guidelines in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years ID Grinder experience
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC/Manual grinding equipment to produce precision parts
• Perform first piece inspections and follow SOPs
• Apply 5S and lean practices to maintain clean workspace
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and quality
