Allied Machine is seeking an Associate for Straighten/Inspect/Center Grind - ICS Specials in Dover, OH. The role focuses on ensuring holders meet geometry specs after heat treating, using an optical comparator to verify tolerances and performing straightening and center grinding as required.

Typical duties include inspecting geometry, handling related operations, and communicating priorities with supervisors to meet due dates. Training on related processes may be provided.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience with optical comparators is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect holders for proper geometry using optical comparators and programmed inspection routines.
• Straighten holders found out of tolerance and center grind as needed.
• Set up and operate center grinder for standard and special products.
• Follow inspection plans and communicate issues that could delay orders.
• Inspect geometry at various stages, including returned/nonconforming parts.
• Coordinate with Quality Services to resolve discrepancies between inspection results.
