Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Inc. is seeking a Polisher to perform diversified grinding operations to meet drawing requirements for cemented carbide parts. The role includes inspecting finished work, adhering to safety and environmental standards, and ensuring quality records are maintained.

You will interpret drawings, set up OD machines, and use proper fixtures. This position requires reading instructions, attention to detail, and the ability to work with LEAN and production management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical level drawings and process sheets.
• Experience using micrometers and quality inspection equipment.
• Detail oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
• Set up and operate OD machine using correct fixtures and wheels.
• Perform pre, in-process and post inspection to meet quality standards.
• Record readings in inspection software and maintain quality records.
• Demonstrate housekeeping and adhere to standard work and safety procedures.
• Communicate quality concerns to technical support staff.
