Columbus McKinnon Corporation is seeking a skilled operator for the Grinding and Inspecting area at the Forge Plant. The role includes setup, operation of grinders, quality verification against prints, and documentation of checks in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adherence to PPE requirements, with opportunities to learn and advance within our global manufacturing network.

Formación

• Must interpret manufacturing prints and work orders.
• Able to read written or diagram instructions.
• Able to lift or push up to 40 lbs safely.
• Willingness to learn and maintain a safe workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Setup and operate all machines and equipment used in Grinding and Inspecting.
• Verify product quality by using manufacturing prints and gauges.
• Adjust grinders as necessary to produce an acceptable product.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for this work center.
• Perform and document all quality checks required in these work centers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
