Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a grinder operator for production, experimental and tool work using internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders. The role requires precise setups and adherence to tolerances on a variety of grinding tasks.

You will set speeds, feeds and wheels, manage fixtures and blocks, and ensure quality within ITAR constraints. The position is full-time, first shift, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Three years of production grinding experience including setup.
• ITAR compliance and U.S. person eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work.
• Must be able and is required to perform any type of difficult grinding work on any and all types grinders.
• Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads.
• Must be able to set up truing devices on thread grinding for various types and forms of threads. Selects proper speeds, feeds, and wheels.
• Holds work to required tolerances. Setups are exacting, usually requiring firm and accurately set fixtures, rests or blocks.
