Job summary

Coperion in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Grinder/Bead Blast Operator to support Operations by setting up, maintaining, operating, and cleaning grinding and bead blast equipment to assure a quality product finish that meets specifications.

Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am - 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months+ experience, and basic computer knowledge; blueprint reading preferred. 5S environment and ISO 9001 compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months or more related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Dependability a must.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment, choose nozzles, and adjust air-sand mix for finish.
• Remove sand, scale, and residue; ensure finished parts meet specs.
• Operate grinders and tools to remove oxidation and burrs from stainless steel.
• Grind and polish weld seams for matched grain finish per drawings/specifications.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 standards and procedures.
