Job summary

Forma-Fab Metals is seeking a capable Finishing Technician to deburr parts, grind welds, and finish surfaces for paint. You will use electric and pneumatic hand tools, select grinding wheels, and prepare parts per workmanship standards.

The role requires 2+ years of experience with finishing tools in a production environment, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read and follow written instructions. Overtime may be required and attendance must be reliable.

Qualifications

• Requires high attention to detail and reliable attendance.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50–75 lbs.
• Experience with finishing tools in a production setting desired.
• Basic computer skills to read/work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment to deburr, grind welds, and prepare parts for paint.
• Maintain and inspect grinding machines, stones, and blades for proper condition.
• Input and maintain data in ERP system per shop instructions.
• Follow work instructions and process sheets; complete job sheets.
• Maintain a clean workstation and comply with safety practices.
