Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a Warehouse Employee to handle, store, and distribute automotive glass products, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role includes receiving shipments, organizing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining quality control to prevent damage to fragile products. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment and collaborate with drivers and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse/logistics experience a plus, especially handling fragile materials.
• Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass and related materials.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and securing products.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized and store materials properly.
• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient operations.
