Job summary

AMETEK Inc. is seeking a Glass Cutter/Assembler to cut glass to specified sizes using various tools. You will prep glass for production, inspect for defects, and ensure accurate labeling and safe handling throughout the process.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and diagrams, operating cutting equipment, maintaining the cutting area, and recording production data. A GED or equivalent experience with strong attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2-3 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Strong focus on quality, safety and extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and interpret diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly drawings; follow instructions.
• Inspect glass for quality and identify defects.
• Run glass through washer to clean pieces.
• Cut glass for tempering line and in-house stock.
• Maintain cutting equipment and area cleanliness.
• Enter production data in records/logs.
• Move and pack glass to carts/shelves with proper labeling.
• Comply with OSHA guidelines and safety policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
