Job summary

Amorphous Materials in Garland, TX is seeking a hands-on general labor role to produce and inspect optical components in a fast-paced production area.

You will follow drawings, operate and troubleshoot optical manufacturing equipment, input data into Excel and MRP systems, and maintain calibration and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months of related experience or training.
• Authorized to work in the US and able to meet export-control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on to provide optical components in a production environment.
• Fulfill production work orders and complete daily schedules.
• Enter data into production reports and software including Excel and MRP systems.
• Setup and adjust settings and troubleshoot optical manufacturing machinery and processes.
• Maintain calibration, cleanliness and proper operation of equipment.
• Follow drawings, blueprints and schematics to verify part specifications.
• Must be able to pass OSHA Respirator Test and wear respirator as required.
