Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a dependable General Assembler (EC) to support the assembly, inspection, and preparation of finished products in a manufacturing setting. You will perform final assembly, ensure product quality, and help meet production targets in a safe, efficient manner.

The role requires reading work instructions and blueprints, using hand and power tools, and maintaining accurate production records while following 5S safety standards. Vertiv operates in a fast-paced environment in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Final Assembly Operations: Assemble components and subassemblies per instructions and SOPs.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect assemblies to ensure they meet specs; report defects.
• Tool & Equipment Use: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Production Efficiency: Meet daily production goals with accuracy and quality.
• Documentation: Complete production records and checklists timely.
• Material Handling: Move materials within the work area using proper methods.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Follow safety guidelines and keep area clean.
