Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking an assembly team member to support production on the shop floor. You will follow work instructions, read schematics, and use hand tools to assemble components while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will cross-train across several assembly areas and adapt to changing business needs. The role requires attention to detail, effective teamwork, and the ability to follow standard procedures and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and execute basic standard assembly procedures, interpret basic visual diagrams, and use basic hand tools.
• Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
• Ability to act safely while following established procedures, processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Uses work instructions drawings, schematics, and assembly equipment to perform assembly.
• Cross trains in multiple assembly areas and flex to other departments as needed.
• Develop and maintain understanding of products and their impact on the business.
• Participate in team meetings and resolve problems with assistance as needed.
• Provide basic training on work instructions/standard work as needed.
