StandardAero is seeking an Aircraft Engine Mechanic in Pennsylvania to perform turbine engine repair, overhaul, troubleshooting, and related tasks on site. The role requires working with precision tools and following FAA/OEM standards to return components to service.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with teams; travel up to 50% may be involved, and a valid FAA license or within-one-year upgrade is required.

Qualifications

  • One year of engine maintenance experience in aerospace preferred; entry level considered.
  • FAA Power Plant license required or must be acquired within 1 year.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow technical manuals and use precision measuring tools.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair turbine engines on or off wing.
  • Follow FAA and OEM standards during work.
  • Disassemble and assemble turbine engines using shop equipment.
  • Inspect engine parts with precision tools and document findings.
  • Review technical publications and ensure proper documentation.
