Qualifications

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment.
• Ability to read English and understand instructions.
• Exposure to a variety of garment styles and fabrics.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments to meet or exceed original construction quality.
• Perform garment adjustments including sleeves, shoulders, coats, collars, seams, and pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and inspect quality.
• Complete assigned alterations and other tasks from supervisor, lead, or manager.
• Interpret written and oral instructions.
