Job summary

SOUTHERN CAST PRODUCTS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our foundry and machining operations. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and help diagnose and repair issues to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hands-on experience and a solid mechanical background, with a willingness to learn and grow in a safety‑mocused environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or related hands‑on experience (industrial, automotive, agricultural, military, or similar).
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and basic schematics.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with diagnosing breakdowns and making repairs to minimize downtime.
• Help install, align, and calibrate equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with production.
