Job summary

Amentum is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Fork Truck Driver / Material Handler to join our industrial maintenance team in Greenville, SC. You will safely operate forklifts to move materials, load and unload shipments, and support the internal distribution process.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, US work authorization, and the ability to obtain a security badge.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Possess a valid Driver's License (if required for the position).
U.S. work authorization required (sponsorship not available).
Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and alternative schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
Transport materials within the facility and to external locations as needed.
Handle order picking, packaging, and preparation for shipment.
Maintain professional and courteous relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Communicate material handling equipment (MHE) concerns team members and management.
Follow and promote Amentum safety practices, participating in safety meetings and adhering to all safety protocols.
Complete other duties assigned by supervisors or managers.
