Job summary

Amentum in California seeks a warehouse associate to move and store goods, palletize and ship materials, and support inventory control in a secure facility in Herlong. You will operate forklifts, perform daily equipment checks, unload and load vehicles, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 12 months of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Twelve months related experience or training required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a government vehicle.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US citizenship required for credentials.

Responsibilities

• Move goods on pallets or crates around the storage facility according to procedures.
• Stack goods in correct storage bays per inventory control.
• Ensure loads are secure and material handling procedures followed.
• Unload materials from incoming vehicles and place to assigned areas.
• Perform daily equipment checks and lubricate equipment.
• Observe safety rules and wear PPE.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Conduct inventories using barcode scanning, labeling, and terminals.
• Maintain workspace and housekeeping to ensure safety and efficiency.
