Job summary

Forte seeks dedicated forklift operators to move materials around the plant floor safely and efficiently. You will operate a forklift, read schedules, and ensure materials are at the right place for production flow.

Must have proven forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight spaces. A HS diploma or GED is required; forklift certification is preferred. Background checks and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials safely around plant.
• Read schedules and tickets; use measuring tape to the 1/16 inch.
• Maintain safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Inspect machinery and report any deficiencies.
• Keep storage areas organized and pallets prepared for shipment.
