Job summary

Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. seeks a skilled Forge Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will operate forging presses, monitor heating cycles, perform die changes, and inspect parts to ensure quality and specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to stand, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to lift or move at least 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging presses and other equipment to shape metal components.
• Monitor heater temperatures and heating cycles to ensure proper material properties.
• Perform die changes, tooling setups, and adjustments to meet production requirements.
• Inspect forged parts for quality, ensuring they meet company and customer specifications.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Follow safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues, working closely with maintenance and quality teams.
• Assist with routine maintenance of forging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Train on saw, heater, booth operator, trim press, blaster, crane, forklift, and downstacker operations.
