Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Food Prep Worker to prepare and portion items using daily worksheets and Aramark recipes. You will help maintain hygiene and safety standards while assisting with rotation and storage of foods.

You will follow procedures, support sanitation, and complete required training, contributing to a clean, efficient kitchen environment and consistent quality for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year prep or food service experience.
• Knowledge of food prep, knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items using prep lists and Aramark recipes.
• Follow proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Manage leftover foods correctly; cover, label, date, and store according to Aramark standards.
• Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
• Ensure stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at shift end.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment that conforms to all food safety standards and regulations.
• Follow safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Complete all required training.
