Job summary

Harmons Grocery is seeking a packaging associate for our Central Production Facility. You will label, package, and box products for distribution to stores, following recipes and food safety guidelines.

You must be comfortable in a cold warehouse, stand for long periods, and work as part of a production line team. Prior food production or packaging experience and a current food handler's permit are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and follow labels and instructions.
• Strong organization and planning abilities.
• Effective verbal and listening communication.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Label packages accurately according to product and order specifications.
• Package products following recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Box and transfer finished products to designated shipping coolers.
• Ensure products that are personally prepared are run through X Ray machines prior to boxing.
• Inspect products for quality and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
