Job summary

Oakline Floors in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Flooring Estimator to produce accurate, competitive bid packages across hardwood, tile, LVT/LVP, carpet, laminate, and engineered wood.

You will own the numbers from takeoffs through bid submission and award, work closely with sales, purchasing, and the design center, and hand off a complete package to the project team to set up field success. You will review specs for scope, track bid outcomes, and continuously improve estimating accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of estimating experience in flooring or a related interior finish trade.
• Knowledge across hardwood, tile, LVT/LVP, carpet, laminate, and engineered wood.
• Experience with digital takeoff software and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Takeoffs from plans and specs with waste factors.
• Assemble complete bid packages by product category, labor, and scope.
• Maintain live cost database of material, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
• Ensure bid specs align with drawings; flag gaps before submission.
• Manage bid pipeline and meet deadlines.
