Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Memphis, TN, is seeking an Operations Technician I, Finishing. You will perform grinding, buffing, trimming and chemical treatment to achieve required surface finish on orthopedic implant components.

The role requires adherence to quality and safety standards, use of precision measuring tools, and participation in Lean/EHS initiatives. Training and growth opportunities are provided with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred
• No prior work experience required; manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math and measurement skills, good hand–eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Transport products using hand truck, pallet jack, carts
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment
• Detect and report faulty equipment or materials to supervisor
• Follow safety rules and 5S housekeeping requirements
• Support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives
• Dimensionally inspect parts using calipers, comparators, pin gauges, surface plates
• Follow work orders to perform operations on various parts and products
• Adhere to procedures and complete required training
