Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is seeking an Operations Technician, Metal Finisher, Polishing I in Mason, MI. The role focuses on polishing and belting operations per engineering and customer specifications within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications include a High School diploma (preferred) and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. The position involves using precision tools, working in a fast-paced environment, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to work accurately with measuring tools and gauges.
• Able to stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment in cell (cut off wheel, buffing wheel, belt grinder).
• Inspect and remove defects (cracks, belt marks, dings, dents).
• Inspect parts using gauges (Go/No-go, micrometers, height gauges).
• Manufacture parts to prints per requirements.
• Complete required router information and maintain 6S housekeeping.
• Support quality and compliance by following QMS procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or lead.
