Ultra Machining Company (UMC) in Monticello, MN is hiring a General Finishing Operator for a night shift. The role involves rotating through assembly, deburring, polishing, washing, and tumbling using manual tools to produce high-quality parts per customer specs.

You will inspect with micrometers, gauges, and optical equipment while supporting safety and quality standards. We seek at least 2 years in manufacturing and some finishing experience; proficiency with Epicor and 1factory helps.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years in manufacturing related to machine trades or secondary operations.
• Experience in finishing or secondary operations preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints at a basic level and perform simple calculations.

Responsabilités

• Operate finishing processes including polishing, washing, tumbling, deburring.
• Utilize inspection equipment to verify part quality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Input data accurately into ERP/software systems (Epicor, 1factory).
• Collaborate with team and supervisor to ensure on-time production.
