Job summary

Arrow Specialties US, LLC is hiring a Manufacturing (Finishing) Machine Operator for our Richmond, VA Spruance Plant onsite. The role requires monitoring and operating production equipment, following SOPs, and maintaining safety standards on a rotating 12-hour schedule that includes nights, days, and weekends.

Starting pay is $26.09 per hour plus a $2.50 shift differential and paid overtime, with an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Willing to work overtime including holidays, weekends, and short notice.
• Must be able to wear PPE such as steel toe shoes, hardhat, Nomex clothing, protective eyewear, face shields, arc protective clothing, rubber acid suits, Respirex hoods and SCBA.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently, 25 lbs regularly, 55 lbs occasionally; climb stairs, ladders and columns; stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl; see, hear alarms and follow procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, etc.).
• Willing and able to learn new computer software systems such as machine operating systems and touch screens.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate production equipment and facilities, including field equipment and operations support, ensuring quality and conformity with SOPs.
• Drive accountability and uphold safety standards; initiate and follow emergency procedures when needed.
• Participate in cross-training and rotate through trainings for various roles within the area.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally, following written operating procedures; accept coaching and guidance.
