Job summary

Benchmark in Concord, CA is seeking a finishing technician to clean, deburr, and cosmetically finish machined parts for final processing and shipment. The role requires reading blueprints, following routers and specs, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

You will train teammates, work at multiple stations, and contribute to continuous improvement while meeting production goals and quality standards in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with finishing materials and processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate into work instructions.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Experience mentoring or training others.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand finishing requirements from routers, drawings and specifications.
• Clean, deburr and finish machined parts using tools and supplies.
• Work under supervision following standardized procedures.
• Complete daily production data and report to supervisor.
• Train and assist coworkers to achieve timely results.
• Work at multiple workstations to meet production needs.
• Maintain tools and equipment and the finishing area.
• Promote safety, production, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
