Job summary

Timber Technologies Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Finger Joint Table / Crowder Operator to join our production team in Colfax, WI. This indoor manufacturing role requires attention to detail and hands-on skills to turn lumber into structural products.

You will follow daily production sheets, manage material sequencing, and perform quality checks on joints and glue application. The shift is Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday overtime, offering Growth within a stable, long‑running glulam

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and follow daily production sheets.
Working knowledge of lumber grading standards.
Comfort using measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, moisture meter).
Prior experience operating machines with HMI panels.
Experience with powered hand tools.
Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Feed lumber onto the finger joint table in proper sequence, matching species, grade, and quantity per daily production sheets.
Cut boards to standard for defects like knots, splits, and wane.
Ensure finger joint cutters produce clean, quality joints and glue is applied correctly.
Load boards into the Crowder in the right sequence and configuration.
Maintain quality and consistency throughout the run; monitor the process.
