Woodgrain is seeking a Fingerjointer Machine Operator for the 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm). Starting pay is $16-18 per hour with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. The role requires reading specs, operating the machine, and helping drive production goals on the line.
You will lead a small team, troubleshoot on downtime, and follow detailed instructions to ensure accurate measurements and high-quality outputs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Fingerjointer Machine Operator adds value by leading Fingerjointer team to achieve quantity and quality production goals. The expectation is to take ownership of the designated work center.
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
