Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a dependable General Assembler (EC) to support final assembly, inspection, and preparation of finished products in a manufacturing setting. You will perform assembly operations, ensure product quality, and help meet production targets in a safe, efficient manner.

This role emphasizes reading work instructions and blueprints, safely using hand and power tools, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining 5S housekeeping and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Ability to read/work from work instructions, blueprints or diagrams.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Teamwork and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Final Assembly Operations: Assemble components per work instructions, blueprints, and SOPs.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect assemblies to ensure quality and report defects.
• Tool & Equipment Use: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Production Efficiency: Meet daily production goals with accuracy and quality.
• Documentation: Complete production records and checklists timely.
• Material Handling: Move materials within the work area using proper handling techniques.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean area.
