Qualifications

• Must have working command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to operate MIG welding equipment.
• Tack weld capability required to be fully qualified.
• Read and interpret gauges and measurements (1/16 inch).
• Lean Principles and safety awareness are expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine for fins per inch and set stops based on tube circuit lengths.
• Weld steel-finned material to tube ends.
• Set up and operate pedric bender for standard and finned coils; produce circuits to length.
• Remove and reset dyes; repair fins.
• Set up bending machine for correct sizes (steel, copper, stainless).
• Stack and shear tubing, stack circuits on coil fixture, place spacers.
• Square coils to meet quality specifications.
• Cut and bevel nipples on coils; remove excess galvanize.
• Load/unload coils and perform preventive maintenance on pipe bender.
• Follow ISO policies and maintain clean work area with 5S; adhere to safety regulations.
• Meet or exceed shift production goals; perform other duties as assigned.
