Atkore International in Pueblo, CO seeks a Bender I - 2nd Shift to ensure quality and quantity of fiberglass elbows per ATIRE safety rules. The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and requires lifting up to 50 pounds and accurate production records.

You will verify schedules, work with a Bender Helper, perform bending/cutting/sanding when needed, and conduct final inspections. A high school diploma and 2 years of shop experience are preferred, with a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred for role.
• Two years of shop experience preferred.
• Strong math for counting, radius, diameters and length.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, time management and organization.
• Adaptable to change and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Committed to safe, fast-paced production and lifting up to 50 lb.

Responsabilités

• Confirm product with schedule and locate inventory.
• Attain planned production levels on equipment.
• Plan with Bender Helper for the shift’s production.
• Bend, cut and sand if no helper available.
• Keep production records, scrap rates and oven data.
• Final inspection of angle, label, and finish.
• Perform changeovers with some assistance.
• Maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
