Job summary

AMETEK Rotron is seeking an assembler for 1st shift to read drawings, assemble fans, blowers, and modules from subcomponents, and perform magnetizing and inspection tasks. The role requires reading wiring diagrams, using basic tools, and maintaining quality and safety at a busy workstation.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, read wiring diagrams, obtain a solder certificate, and complete yearly ESD training.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret routings, assembly drawings, work instructions, part lists and all applicable documentation.
• Validate all parts are present prior to beginning job and before moving job to the next step.
• Assemble final fan, blower and module products from electrical and mechanical subcomponents.
• Operate equipment to assemble mechanical subcomponents and perform magnetizing.
• Verify specifications and measurements per drawing.
• Measure parts using basic measuring tools and apply basic math as needed.
• Inform team lead or supervisor of any assembly or production issues.
• Maintain clean, safe workstation and meet output expectations.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and hook-up assemblies per drawing.
• Obtain and hold a solder certificate and complete yearly ESD training.
