Job summary

American Fan is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Fairfield. The role involves building and testing fans and blowers, balancing blades, and ensuring quality with attention to detail. Strong communication with the team and internal/external customers is desired.

You will work with cross-functional departments, follow safety protocols, operate ERP systems, and participate in training on cranes. This position emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and adaptability to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, quality manuals.
• Forklift training certificate or ability to obtain it.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fans and blowers according to order instructions, including balancing blades.
• Perform final inspection for defects and verify accessories and motors.
• Report malfunctions or needed repairs to the Assembly Lead.
• Process time sheets and scrap reports accurately.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Test finished products for balance and rpm after appropriate training.
