Job summary

US Tech Force in Wisconsin is seeking a General Fabricator to grind stainless and mild steel, follow blueprints, and maintain an excellent attendance record. The role requires good mechanical aptitude and solid communication with the team.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints (both computer generated and paper copies), operating saws to cut material, setting up grinding tools, inspecting parts for accuracy, and polishing metal or plastic pieces.

Qualifications

• Experience grinding stainless and mild steel.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specs.
• Excellent attendance record and punctuality.
• Good communication with team and supervisors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints to make accurate parts.
• Grind stainless and mild steel.
• Inspect parts to ensure accuracy.
• Read blueprints; computer generated and paper copy.
• Operator Saw to cut material to required specs.
• Setup, operate, grinding tools to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces.
• Polish metal or plastic work pieces.
• Previous experience in a fabrication or machine shop.
• Follow instructions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
