Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking a Fabricator – Machine Operator in Harlan, Iowa to set up and operate fabrication equipment to produce metal components according to blueprints and work orders.

You will read drawings, use calipers and micrometers, maintain quality records, and uphold safety standards. Welding experience is a plus but not required.

High school diploma or 1–2 years experience accepted; strong math and communication skills are valued in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1–2 years of fabrication experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills: dimensions, geometry, conversions.
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment (press brakes, rollers, punches, saws, grinders).
• Use calipers, micrometers, rulers, squares, and height gauges to measure parts.
• Maintain safety and accurate production records.
• Read and interpret part drawings and production data.
