Job summary

American Air Filter International is seeking a skilled operator to load dies, set stroke, and load programs to produce required parts for filters and related components.

You will read blueprints, operate punch presses and fabrication equipment, and maintain tooling and cleanliness while following safety rules. 6 months manufacturing exp preferred.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; strong measurement and math skills are essential; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine machining steps.
• Able to program numbers from flat patterns into machine control.
• Experience with precision instruments and measurement is required.

Responsibilities

• Load dies and set stroke and program for required parts.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Operate forklift to move metal.
• Operate fabrication machines such as shear, saw, press brake, drill press, deburrer.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and proper tooling.
• Communicate with Foreman or Lead on shop floor.
