Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure the integrity of heat exchangers and environmental control components. The role focuses on setup, inspection, and testing across fabrication and assembly processes, with emphasis on precision measurement and adherence to safety standards.

You will operate conventional and CNC equipment, perform tests, and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to maintain quality levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in quality control and inspection processes.
• Prior use of air tools and fixtures to set-up parts for welding and understanding gauges such as verniers and depth micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set-up, and perform fabrication and inspection of heat exchangers and related components.
• Operate tools and CNC/NC equipment for milling, drilling, and turning per established procedures.
• Conduct visual, dimensional and functional tests using precision measuring instruments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
