Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Production Technician to support fabrication, assembly, and testing of TAIT products in a team environment. You will read blueprints, identify materials, and help deliver finished assemblies that meet TAIT quality standards.

The role offers growth opportunities within the department and requires adherence to safety policies. Candidates should have basic fabrication skills, be able to work independently or with a small team, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of instructional/professional training.
• Fabrication, carpentry, and/or complex mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to identify materials and hardware.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and internal drawings.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and practices (WLL, COg, LAF).
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and shop tools (wood, plastic, metal).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using TAIT systems (Epicor, Slack, Box).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to proper fabrication and assembly techniques.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances per drawings.
• Produce quality TAIT-standard products.
• Clean and maintain workspace, tools, and equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints and internal drawings/SOPs.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Perform duties per company policies and expectations.
