Job summary

TAIT, a global leader in live event technology, seeks a Mechanical Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, weld, and repair TAIT products. You’ll apply MIG, TIG, and FCAW techniques to deliver high-quality, on-time results for clients.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, verify materials, and maintain strict tolerances while safely using fabrication tools. This on-site role demands physical fitness and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Experience with fabrication tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, drawings.
• Ensure correct materials are used in the project.
• Evaluate material quality before fabrication.
• Adhere to fabrication techniques efficiently.
• Safely handle fabrication tools and equipment.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances and specifications.
• Perform quality checks on completed work.
• Maintain traceability and report modifications.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.
