Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Production Technician to support manufacturing, assembly and fabrication of TAIT products in a collaborative team environment. The role requires versatility across disciplines and adherence to TAIT quality standards.

You will read and interpret blueprints and internal drawings, work with fabrication tools, and comply with safety policies. The position offers growth within the department and requires a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of instructional/professional training.
• Fabrication, carpentry, mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to identify materials and hardware.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints and internal drawings.
• Knowledge in rigging equipment and practices (WLL, COG, & LAF).
• Advanced knowledge using precision measuring instruments and general manufacturing tools (wood, plastic, metal).
• Proficiency with TAIT business systems (Epicor, Slack, and Box).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Flexibility with a 40-hour work week, with possible schedule changes.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to fabrication and assembly techniques.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances set forth on drawings.
• Produce a quality product while meeting TAIT standards.
• Clean and maintain workspace, tools, and equipment.
• Read, understand, and follow blueprints and SOPs.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions.
• Perform duties according to company policies.
