Job summary

Senior Flexonics Pathway in Lewiston, ME, is seeking a dependable operator who can run fabricating machines, sandblasting equipment, forklifts, and carpentry tools. You will read blueprints, verify materials, and package equipment for shipment, all while maintaining safe operations.

The role requires reading drawings, basic math, strong organizational and communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Experience reading and interpreting drawings and work instructions.
High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Review schedule and blueprints to determine machine and material needs.
Maintain inventory and report defective materials to management.
Design work methods to increase productivity and throughput.
Follow safety rules and proper guarding at all times.
Organize work area for safe, clean, and efficient operations.
Adhere to safety rules and wear proper personal protective equipment.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs; up to 25 lbs frequently; up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance.
Operate forklift and move materials around the facility.
Pack equipment for shipment and handle crates/skids to prevent damage.
Operate air-powered blasting equipment for surface preparation.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
