Job summary

CSW Industrials, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Utility on our shop floor to assist the production team with prefabrication tasks and set up the fabrication department for success. The role involves operating saws, drill presses, grinders and other machinery to cut, shape, and assemble components to spec.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of saw operator experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma, strong reading of blueprints, and a safety-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine cutting requirements.
• Maintain focus on precision and accuracy in fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws, drill presses, grinders, and other machinery to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine cutting requirements.
• Use hand and power tools for component assembly and fabrication.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
• Keep work areas clean and free of debris, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
• Perform additional duties as required.
