Job summary

Netzer Metalworks is seeking an Estimating & Sales Support Specialist to join a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Essex, MD. You will support the quoting process by coordinating with engineering, purchasing, suppliers, and sales teams to develop accurate and competitive quotations.

The ideal candidate will manage RFQs, gather supplier pricing and lead times, perform cost analysis, and ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and communicated across the organization in a

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, machining, sheet metal, aerospace, or related industrial environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with multitasking and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, drawings, specs to develop accurate quotations.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, purchasing, and production for pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, information.
• Source materials and manufacturing requirements as needed.
• Perform post-job cost analysis to improve estimating accuracy.
• Ensure customer requirements are understood and communicated.
• Support sales through quote follow-up and tracking.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
