Job summary

Syndeo Staffing is seeking a detail-driven residential construction Estimator to support custom and production homebuilding projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to estimate labor, material and time requirements. Translate blueprints into cost estimates, ensuring accuracy across all materials, quantities and costs.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating in residential or commercial construction.
• Strong Excel and computer-based estimating workflow skills.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and plans to develop line-by-line cost estimates.
• Perform on-screen takeoffs to determine material quantities.
• Obtain bids from vendors and subs and aggregate data into estimates.
• Enter and manage estimating data in the ERP system (Mark Systems).
• Track material price changes and project costs to protect margins.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing and leadership to validate assumptions.
