Job summary

InstroTek, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Preparation Technician for 100% on-site work at 1 Triangle Drive, RTP, NC. You will unpack, inspect, calibrate, and test equipment to ensure it meets our high standards before reaching customers.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential. The role involves configuring components, performing QC, operating with documentation, and collaborating with warehouse and production teams.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and documentation.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and inspect incoming equipment and components.
• Perform QC checks to meet standards.
• Install and configure components per order specs.
• Test equipment for full functionality before shipment.
• Repackage equipment securely for delivery.
• Upgrade NCAT ovens with ignition panels per procedures.
• Conduct QC testing on upgraded ovens for safety and performance.
• Calibrate customer equipment in-house.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and calibrations.
• Identify and report defects or inconsistencies.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs.
• Support warehouse/production/technical teams as needed.
