Job summary

Accredited Labs is seeking a Field Calibration Technician in Fletcher, NC to service, calibrate, and repair a range of lab and production instruments such as rheometers, viscometers, and tensile testers.

You will work both in-house and on customer sites, travel by car, and communicate with customers while maintaining calibration data and service reports. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability.
Mechanical and electrical/electronic proficiency.
Basic soldering skills (bonus).
Ability to travel frequently and occasionally on short notice.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Able to lift 50lbs.
Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
Good organizational and prioritization skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, service, and troubleshoot instruments (rheometers, viscometers, tensile testers, and related equipment).
Perform work both in-house and at customer sites.
Communicate clearly with customers throughout the process and provide status updates with technical support.
Document calibration data and service reports.
Maintain lab equipment and support occasional equipment sales.
