Oshkosh Corporation invites applications for an Assembly Technician role at our Greencastle, IN site. You will assemble parts and systems for JLG/Jerr-Dan products, using a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools.

The role requires adherence to detailed procedures and safety standards while maintaining quality workmanship. You will operate power tools, install accessories, and assist with subassemblies; overtime and weekend shifts may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Overtime is required to meet production demands.
• Regular attendance on-site and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures and other tools.
• Identify options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
